| Wild Wilderness is a family park/zoo located in Gentry, Arkansas. There are over 85 different species of exotic animals placed on a beautiful 180-acre natural landscape with a 19 acre lake and several large ponds. Within the park is a 5-acre walk-through area consisting of 2 petting parks with pigmy goats and kangaroos. There are also pony and camel rides operating on a seasonal basis. Throughout the year, we have many baby animals born. Some of the babies are in the walk-through area for customers to hold or pet. This past year, we had baby bear cubs, tiger cubs, kangaroos, and lemurs for the customers to interact with. For most people, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity. In the five mile drive through area, there are free roaming deer, buffalo, and antelope. There are many other animals throughout the drive including lions, tigers, bears, jaguar, rhinoceros, hippopotamus, and much, much more. Many animals come right up to the car window for a close up picture! There are so many animals in the drive through, we encourage customers to drive a second time before leaving the park. You are encouraged to bring a picnic to enjoy. There are picnic tables in the walk-through area, and some under a large pavilion. A snack bar with soft drinks, chips and candy is available.
